Diving into AI for Your Marketing Plan: A Beginner’s Guide

While professional production value goes a long way toward making a video popular (and possibly viral) on social media, incorporating original content and unpolished videos could be just as important. To help you stand out from the crowd, here are some unique ways to use video to better engage your audience. Most companies have now realized how powerful video can be at connecting with audiences and conveying a brand's message better than written text or print graphics.
Convey Customer Feedback Through Videos
Feedback that you have received on social media posts could be addressed in a video. The video should look conversational, as if it is directly responding to the comments. Brands should take advantage of the direct, documented feedback that they can now receive from their customers via several platforms. Answer the question using Facebook Live, which is fun and easy to do.
Grab Viewers’ Attention
Audiences look at content all day, every day, and we have only seconds to capture their attention. Try to engage your audience by making sure the first five seconds of video content grab their attention. Don’t waste time on a drawn-out intro or pushing elaborate logos. Put your best content forward with top clips at the forefront of the video to get maximum views.
Feature Videos from Happy Customers
The most unique and relatable way for brands to engage their audience using video is to edit and use raw, short-form home videos from happy customers talking about and using your product. This comes across as authentic and real to potential new customers in ways that high-quality, overproduced video content does not.
Leverage Personalized Videos
Personalized videos are going to become the new norm in 2024. If you hear or see your name in an ad, wouldn’t that grab your attention? It would be shared organically online.
Use Video Content in Marketing Emails
A unique way a business can leverage video content is by using it in email marketing. Sometimes it’s easier to say than to take the time to organize and design. Imagine you have a message you want your audience to get. You send them an email, and that email has video content that gets your message across. This will help your email marketing campaign stand out.
Make your Company Culture the Star
Brand loyalty and human connection go hand in hand, especially during a pandemic or unscheduled downtime. Video marketing creates a unique opportunity to humanize your brand by showcasing your company's culture. Offering a behind-the-scenes look at your brand allows your audience to connect with your team, understand your work environment, and connect with you as a business owner.
Create Short Videos Based on FAQs
I’ve seen several companies use their FAQ list to create short videos that will address common queries you receive. This is a great way to show off your team and engage with your target audience.
Create A Video Series
One-off videos can delight and inspire, but a video series around a theme can engage. The consumption of a series of videos can tell a story and consume the viewer. Short and sweet like our attention span. While the viewer might want it all now, staggering the availability not only keeps the viewer on the hook but also makes the anticipation a viral element.
